Shirley Bracelin of St. Francis, KS passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.  Shirley was born to Arthur and Martha Lueschen.  She attended and graduated from St. Francis High School.

She married Darrel Lee Purvis on January 27, 1957, and had two children, Mark and David.  Darrel passed away in 2003.  Shirley married Keith Bracelin on February 24, 2013.

Shirley is survived by her son, David (Victoria) Purvis, Shawnee, KS. and daughter in law, Karen Purvis (Rusty) Blehm, Meade, KS; four grandchildren: Josh (Tiffany) Purvis, Jennifer Taylor, Michael Purvis, and Jordan Purvis; and two great-granddaughters, Jessa Taylor and Isabelle Purvis.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands, Darrel Purvis and Keith Bracelin; son, Mark Purvis; great-grandson, Wyatt Windholz; siblings, Phyllis Hook, Paul Lueschen and Beverly Crane.

Graveside services, officiated by Pastor Brenda Rodger, will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mount Allen Cemetery. 2601 Vine Street in Hays, KS.  A reception to follow at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2703 Fort St., Hays, KS  67601.
