Scott Alan Smith, age 64 of Bird City, Kansas passed away in his sleep on January 4th, 2021. Scott was born to Dean and Joan Smith on April 8th, 1956 in St. Francis, Kansas. He was a graduate of Bird City High School and soon after marriage, became the father of two young boys. Living on the farm with his two boys was amongst some of his most beloved memories. Scott was fond of the outdoors and had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and camping. He was also a keen lover of music and would often play his guitar late in to the evenings. Scott always had a wealth of humor and would go out of his way to share it with others and his children. He was always quick of wit and would always find a way to make others smile. Scott is survived by his two sons, Jason and Andrew, and 3 granddaughters Ava, Brayleigh, and Loretta.

A funeral service was held at the United Methodist Church in Bird City, Kansas on June 12th, 2021.
