WEBB, Robert Anthony, "Scruffy", born April 6, 1947, in Barberton, Ohio, passed away September 4, 2021 at age 74. Petty Officer Third Class Robert A. Webb, proudly served The United States Navy, aboard ship USS Forrestal from years 1966-1970. He became a Union Pipe-Fitter/Welder for the Local #208 after his years of service. Rob possessed many talents that included an avid passion for writing poems and songs, artistically creating welded pieces that he was extremely proud of, whole-heartedly loving his family, and never forgetting to remind everyone when his birthday was, so no one was to ever forget "4,6,47, looky there, what a number sequence."

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Eugene Webb and Christine Eleanor (Tansik) Webb, brother Donald "Boots" Webb, and sister Donna Leoni. Robert is survived by son, Joseph and wife, Dena Webb; daughter, Jessica and husband, Brad Matthies; grandchildren, Lindsay and Matthew Webb, Breelyn Brigola, Makaila, Carter, Henzley, and Lincoln Matthies; sisters, Bernadeen McLaughlin and Christine and husband, Jim Thornton; favorite pup, Sofie; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
