Mayetta (Burr) McCall was born to Gottfred "Fred" Burr and Kathryn (Walz) Burr on May 30, 1942 in St. Francis Kansas.  She departed this life on June 12, 2025, at the age of 83.

Mayetta was a lifelong resident of St. Francis Kansas.

She graduated high school in 1960, and on April 2, 1961 was united in marriage to Keith "Bud" McCall, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of 64 years.

Mayetta was a member of the United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a Sunday-School teacher for many years.

She loved bowling, playing cards and games, sewing, hobbies and crafts, and Elvis music.

During a portion of her life she was a partner at a small clothing and crafts store in St. Francis known as "Twice as Nice."  She also enjoyed volunteering at the United Methodist Church "Thrift Store" with many of her friends.

Mayetta was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Katie Burr, her brother Merlyn Burr, her sister and brother-in-law Wanda and Pete Gienger, her brother-in-law Troy Joe "Jody" McCall, and her niece Teena (Gienger) McDanel.

She is survived by her husband, Keith "Bud" McCall of the home, her son and daughter-in-law Blake and Kathy McCall of Baldwin City Kansas, her daughter Libby McCall and fiance' Ron Jungeblut of Kansas City Missouri, her two grandsons Jared McCall and John McCall of Baldwin City Kansas, and many other extended family members and dear friends

Mayetta will be remembered for the love and joy she spread to those around her. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends.

Funeral services were held on June 18, 2025 at the St. Francis United Methodist Church and were followed by burial services at the St. Francis Cemetery.
