Les'le graduated from St. Francis Community High School in the class of 1971. She went on to dedicate nearly three decades of her life to serving others as a licensed mental health technician at Larned State Hospital. For 27 years, she brought care and dignity to her work.

Her deep-rooted faith was a guiding light throughout her life. A loyal Christian with a lifelong belief in the Lutheran faith, Les'le embodied the values of kindness, respect, and love in all that she did. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and valued—whether through a warm conversation or a quiet act of generosity.

Les'le found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening, cooking, and crafting. Above all else, she cherished time spent with loved ones—moments filled with laughter, stories, and enduring connection.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Stunkel; her daughter Melissa Ferneau (Jeff); granddaughters Madeleine Ringold and Jessi Cross (Albert); great-granddaughter Willow; and several beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Les'le was preceded in death by her parents Rex and E. Bettie Confer; her sister Dana Mitchell; brothers Bradley Confer and Kim Confer; as well as her in-laws E. Amil and J. Marguerite Stunkel.
