Leon Leonard Stasser of Mesa, Arizona age 83 died peacefully at Banner Baywood Medical center in Mesa, Arizona on November 1, 2025. He was the beloved son of Everett and Margaret Stasser. He was a loving and devoted father to Lynn, Randell and Serena.

Leon was a very talented man in building and woodworking. He could envision what he wanted something to look like, and he made it come to life. He always enjoyed having lots of family and friends around whether it was for a special occasion or just a simple get-together.

On July 13th, 2019, he married Jocelyn Phyllis Stasser, she survives. He is also survived by his son Lynn Stasser of Mesa, AZ and daughter Serena (Chris) Simmons of Ingalls, Ks.

He was a loving grandfather to his 10 grandchildren, Cade and wife (Haley) Stasser, Kelby and husband (Chris) Diepstraten, Enjoli Stasser, Cierra and husband (Aaron) Owens, Jamie, Cody and Savanah Simmons, Blake and (fiancé Hannah Baeza), Tristen and Clayton Stasser. He was also a loving great-grandfather to his 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Margaret Stasser, a son Randell Stasser and three brothers Gilbert, Merle and Fred Stasser.

Funeral services will be on November 15, 2025, at 10:00 am mountain time at Knodel Funeral Home 202 S Benton, St. Francis Ks. Burial will take place immediately following the service at the St. Francis cemetery.  There will also be a luncheon for family and friends at Traditions Restaurant 824 Main Avenue Suite B Goodland, Ks.
