Juan Enrique Yanez Derma was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico on October 5, 1984, to Manuel Yanez and Ana Derma Duran. He departed this life on May 11, 2025. Juan was fourth of their seven children. The family grew with his siblings, Yadira, Javier, Adrian, Cristina, Marisela and Yazmin. They all grew up surrounded by family and friends in Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He was a much anticipated son by his parents and siblings. Being from a large family, he was blessed with a life filled with love, installing values such as respect, responsibility , and solidarity, essential for growing into an honest admirable person. There are moments that have marked our memories, both for his family and for everyone who knew him. From a young age, we could see his outgoing personality developing. He was very curious about new things, always smiling and optimistic in the face of adversity, teaching others a different perspective on obstacles and difficulties.

He loved to go to the family farm with his grandparents. Some days he was very impatient to wait for his parents to finish packing. He didn't want to wait for his parents to take him to the farm. He would hitch a ride with any cousins that were heading that way. He grew up in a small town and during his childhood he developed a deep love for the country life his mother grew up in. Juan spent entire summers out at that farm. He loved being there. It was impossible to capture in a few words everything Juan did during his development and learning. What we can say is that he was characterized by his desire to get ahead, whether it was selling popsicles, making pinatas, which he gifted to his siblings on their birthdays, cleaning swimming pools, construction, and agriculture, until he emigrated to another country where he finally settled.

It wasn't long before he met the love of his life, Viviana Alarcon Martinez. They were married on July 3, 2003. From their union of pure love, three wonderful daughters were born, Vivian Nicole born Jun 19, 2004, Amy Dianne born January 12, 2009, and Zoe Ariadne born March 25, 2014. Juan was the best girl dad ever! He loved his girls so much. Teaching them to dance was a joy for him. Of all the mobs that Juan had in his life, husband and father were the most important to him. He did those two jobs to perfection. Not only giving them quantity but also quality time.

Juan was a very generous man. When family or friends needed help, He was always giving his time, talent, or support. He would gladly interrupt his plans to assist others. He was not a stranger to anyone. His warm personality greeted everyone he came across.

Living a life that is a reality to many Mexicans to try to work in the U.S., He spent many years without seeing his parents. Despite the distance, he always stayed in touch with them. However, a video call could never replace a warm hug. In spring of 2022, Juan was able to go to Mexico. During this trip, he was able to hug his father for the first time in many years. This was a very meaningful time for them both. The reunion lasted for about six weeks before Juan returned to the U.S. Juan was able to return to Mexico in 2024. Thanks to the generous hearts of Clayton and Lori Janicke, where he had a relationship that went beyond that of employee and boss, he found a family friendship with the entire Janicke family.

Juan is survived by his loving wife, Viviana, his three girls, Vivian, Amy and Zoe, his parents, Manuel Yanez and Ana Derma Duran, his siblings, Yadira (husband Dago), Javier (wife Carolina), Adrian (wife Cristina), Cristina (husband Juan Luis), Marisela and Francisca Yazmin (husband Raphael), Vianey Alarcon Martinez (husband Francisco), Kelle (husband Juan Reyes) and brother-in-law Brayan Alarcon Martinez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, countless cousins and friends. Juan will be greatly missed by the Janicke family, Clayton, Lori, Walker, and Jordan as well as Devon with his own young family.

He was a friend to everyone he met and you will never find a harder worker to provide for his family. His loss will be felt by many people. Juan Enrique Yanez Derma impacted all our lives, proving that anything is possible when done with love and courage. We will always remember Juan with the best memories. A respectable, loving man with kind eyes and a vision of a future of well-being, not only for himself but for everyone around him.

And as Juan would say, "We can do it!"
