Claudia Kay (Cram) Bunker was born January 4, 1955 in St. Francis, Kansas to Bonnie Jean (Waters) and Ernest Richard Cram.  She died August 3, 2025, at her home in Loveland, Colorado.

Claudia was an accomplished harpist and musician.  She played harp for a variety of events, including concerts, galleries, and weddings in Colorado and Kansas.  She was awarded first prize in a harp competition at Estes Park, Colorado.  Claudia played harp regularly for the afternoon tea at the historic Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Colorado.

Claudia received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas.  She also received extensive music and dance training at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas; the College of Choreology, Worthing, England; Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony, Eureka Springs, Arkansas; and had extensive dance training in Seattle, Washington.

Julian Bunker and Joel Bunker, her two musically talented and beloved sons, were the light of her life.  She shared them with her former husband, Robert Bunker.

Claudia's infectious laugh and contagious enthusiasm for life was especially prominent when she had an opportunity to enjoy a gourmet meal, drink a cappuccino, or eat homemade ice cream with loved ones and friends.  Her presence would light up a room!

When Claudia was no longer able to play her harp professionally, she spent her last years working the night shift at Brookdale Mariana Butte Senior Center, Loveland, Colorado, as Resident Assistant.  She enjoyed listening to the residents tell their fascinating life stories.

Claudia loved the Lord, nature, and children.  She used her Christian faith to connect with others whenever she found an opportunity to share.

Claudia Bunker is survived by her sons: Julian Robert Bunker and Joel Michael Bunker, along with one grandson: Cyprian Michael Arnold Bunker.  She is also survived by her siblings Richard Cram, Ione Slattery (Michael); Ole Cram (Elinor); Adele DeGood (Darris); and Fred Waters, her uncle; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A service will be held at Knodel Funeral Home, 202 S. Benton Street, in St. Francis, Kansas on August 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to a charity of your choice to honor Claudia's memory.  Family and friends are invited to a reception at Quincy Gallery, 109 N. Quincy, in St. Francis for a light lunch and visitation with the family immediately after the funeral service.
